Apostle Michael R. Davis
Pastor Michael R. Davis is the Senior Pastor of Second Chance Worship Center (Second Chance Ministries). He is a proud father of three children and a grandfather to one grandchild. Pastor Mike Davis was born and raised in Eagle Lake, Texas and later relocated to Houston where he attended The College of Biblical Studies. After many years of rearing in the Gospel, Pastor Mike answered the call to ministry in 1999. He served as an Assistant Pastor four years before God shifted his ministry.
In 2002 Pastor Michael Davis humbly submitted himself under the leadership of Apostle John L. Hickman, Jr., of The Living Word Faith Center of International Churches. Here, he also obtained additional years of training and graduated Bible College, where he served his spiritual father for over eight years.
Pastor Mike was ordained as Pastor in 2008 at The Living Word Faith Center, under the leadership of Apostle John L. Hickman, Jr. It was then that the Lord gave him the name of the ministry that was to be birthed out of him, The Second Chance Worship Center. Serving in two locations, Houston and Beaumont, Texas, Pastor Mike has worked diligently toward the vision the Lord has given him. Finally released as its own entity, Pastor Mike Davis began the Second Chance Worship Center in his home, where the ministry began in “the upper room”. Starting with 10 faithful disciples, the ministry grew to over 50. It was then that it was moved to a storefront where it now serves about 100 members. Currently in its growing stages, the Second Chance Worship Center has become a part of an accredited Bible College with its first 8 ministers ordained in 2013. It’s also launching its Men’s Ministry, (M.O.P.) Men of Power and Women’s Ministry, (W.O.W.) Women of War. While on the horizon many teaching sessions for spiritual growth and development and of course, a youth ministry in the making!
Second Chance is a healing and deliverance ministry that destroys the yokes of bondage and breaks shackles to educate and empower those that are bound so that they know that God IS a God of a second chance. Its mission is to reach the youth and empower them to become an unstoppable generation in the kingdom of God, to effectively disciple and cultivate young adults as well as seasoned to become one with the word of God proactively proclaiming and building others to connect and advance in a lifestyle positive productive Christianity.

Pastor Mike is a humble servant at heart and is called to the nations to rejuvenate, restore, and deliver through the Power of the Holy Spirit those that are illiterate to the knowledge of God. He is called to strengthen and impart into those that diligently seek to soar into higher dimensions through teaching and preaching the uncompromised word of God.
